Conservative Councillors visit Holyrood to make case for Highland


The seven strong Highland Council contingent met with MSPs at the Scottish Parliament and attended FMQs in the capital.

The Council group met with Highland MSPs Edward Mountain, Jamie Halco Johnston and Donald Cameron to discuss ongoing issues that affect the Highland Council. The group also met with leader Ruth Davidson MSP at the Parliament.


Speaking in Edinburgh Cllr Struan Mackie, deputy Leader of the Highland Conservative Group said " I am delighted to be down here with many of my colleagues. It is so important for us to keep letting elected members know about the issues facing constituents across the Highland Council." "We have excellent MSPs who time and time again stand up for our constituents and it is important that we support each other to get the best outcomes for everybody who lives, learns, works and visits the Highlands".
